Serving customers in the municipal, industrial, and institutional markets, at Rapid Pump & Meter/Machinery Services Corp, we offer a wide array of control and instrumentation services. Along with designing customized control systems, we troubleshoot and repair existing systems, make upgrades, modifications, and modernize, etc. We provide control panels and instrumentation for pumping stations, water and wastewater management applications and offer complete PLC services for manufacturing machinery.

We exclusively provide UL® listed control panels and have specialized expertise for building explosion proof control panels for hazardous environments. Our engineers and designers under the full scope of UL® requirements and configure systems for optimal performance and efficiency. Each panel is thoroughly tested for function and safety, and we provide operator training and a complete documentation package. Along with pump controllers, we offer control panel support for SCADA systems, monitoring and alarm systems, VFD drive systems, motor controls, PLCs, and more.

Our services also include sales, service, and calibration of an expansive range of flow meters, temperature and pressure controllers, transducers, transfer switches, and other necessary instrumentation. We implement devices for event monitoring, auto-dialing, etc. For service, we make repairs and upgrades, and our technicians also perform NIST traceable onsite calibration to ensure accurate measurement.

We have more than 50 years of experience and provide control instrumentation services to a broad customer base, primarily in the tri-state NY-NJ-CT area. Underwriter Laboratory (UL®) Listed Control Panels		The Underwriter's Laboratory (UL®) Listing Mark is the trusted resource across the globe for product safety certification and compliance solutions. "UL®" on an industrial control panel provides evidence of third party certification to the municipal inspection authority and to the purchaser of the control panel. We provide only UL® Listed control panel solutions and have special expertise in Industrial Control Panels (ICPs) for hazardous environments. You can rely our industry experts to provide complete service: Scope: Understanding the scope required of the UL® Listed equipment. Standards: identifying the UL® and IEC Standards needed for your control product system. Pump Control Panels		We provide custom process control equipment and systems for municipal, industrial, water and wastewater management applications. Control systems are available in all types including relay logic and digital drive systems with PLC control and operator interfaces. All control panels are UL® rated.

Booster Pump Controls		We specialize in booster pump systems and controls for municipal, commercial and industrial applications. Booster pump controllers are installed to automatically start and stop pump motors on demand and to maintain a constant pressure in a water supply system. System demand is detected by pressure or by current sensing. Some features of our Rapid Flo Booster Systems are: System maintains constant water pressure during operation. Variable speed controls reduce energy consumption. Controller shuts off the pump in event of water failing to reach the pump inlet. Controller starts and stops the pumps in sequence and varies the sped and number of pumps operating to meet system demand. Extends pump life and reduces water hammer in the system.

IQpump® Controllers		The Yaskawa IQpump® controllers offer ease of setup and comprehensive pump and motor protection features. The integrated pump software and setup parameters allow the operator to setup specific control values for a wide range of applications. The IQpump® controller will automatically adjust pump-operating conditions, as the process variables change, while still maintaining optimum pump performance and protection. IQpump® will support 8 pumps on internal Modbus RS485 communication. Automatically starts and stops Lead and Lag pumps on system demand. Automatically alternates pumps with a system programmable timer for even mechanical wear. Programmable Priority Run and Alternate Sequence for custom pump systems. Configurable transducer feedback settings provide redundant backup in case of failure. No PLCs or control relays required; reduces total system cost and improves reliability.

Energy Efficient Controls		We distribute new, highly efficient electrical drives and powerful Rapid Troll Guardian Pump Station Managers to optimize current and new pump control parameters. Energy saving systems are available in different types and electrical specifications.
